Garam Masala Hummus Recipe

Hummus is a popular Middle Eastern spread or a dip prepared with cooked chickpeas, mashed and blended with ingredients such as tahini, lemon juice etc. Usually eaten with pita bread, we have a recipe with a spicy twist of garam masala.
Ingredients>
- 2 cups Chickpeas, soft boiled
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1/3 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Tahini
- 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Cee Pee Garam Masala
- ¼ tsp Cee Pee Jeera Powder
- ¾ tsp Salt
For Garnishing
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Cee Pee Garam Masala
- 1 tsp White sesame Seeds
Method
- Begin with combining all the ingredients in food processor, except for ingredients mentioned for garnishing.
- Process the mixture for about a minute at low speed. Stop in between and scrape the sides if required.
- Keep processing the mixture until creamy texture is achieved. If you prefer grainy texture, grind it for lesser time.
- Take out the thick paste in a bowl and garnish with olive oil, sesame seeds and garam masala.
